Report reconciliation and district-level election coverage
The dated all-filer transaction download is now searchable. Latest-report reconciliation, full-cycle finance, district and local candidate guides, and local ballot styles remain unfinished. Missing source candidate IDs stay unjoined.
Dataset comparison: Maine's transaction explorer uses the October 2, 2026, official download and actual 2026 transaction dates, not full-cycle campaign totals. Its 17 source transaction classes stay separate. The 803 independent-spending candidate allocations describe the same dollars as 353 parent payments and must not be added again. Campaign-to-date Ethics profile summaries and FEC summaries remain separate, with their own reporting windows. Source office labels do not establish current ballot eligibility.
