What is included
The 7,590 canonical rows come from 339 selected reports across 336 public accounts. Another 59 independent-expenditure rows cover five accounts. Five blocked accounts remain in the directory without invented financial rows. The publication preserves ordinary, convention and petition report families separately.
Non-atomic collection from October 2, 2026 at 03:58 through 04:19 UTC, with a final control check at 04:22 UTC. A bounded refresh updated changed selections before the source catalog stabilized. This is not complete current portal coverage or a full-year statewide total.
Published row dates range from 2026-01-01 through 2026-09-24. Reported dates may be the last contribution date of an accumulated amount. They are not daily cash flow. Aggregates and the cross-year petition report have no chart-filter date; their original dates remain visible. Independent-spending dates are withheld in this amount-only release. Coverage ends separately for each report.
- All 7,590 canonical rows reconcile to the selected report controls. Current report versions are selected by coverage end within each account and report family, not by latest filing date.
- 160 explicit zero aggregates are source report controls, not fabricated transactions. Unitemized aggregates do not identify donors or payments.
- 268 selected candidate, candidate-committee, multicandidate and district-party forms do not require expense information. Missing expense ledgers are not $0.
- 241 supplemental 48-hour reports and 195 earlier cumulative reports remain non-additive source history, with report links in the source-boundary file.
- Report 528 v2 excludes one superseded row using the official transaction-version history. The exception and retained current amount are documented.
- The five blocked accounts are listed below with unavailable amounts.
- United Political Action Committee (public organization 1118, report 719 v3): Selected report totals could not be reconciled. Amounts are unavailable, not zero.
- Knife River Corporation PAC (public organization 1368, report 752 v2): Selected report totals could not be reconciled. Amounts are unavailable, not zero.
- Together for School Meals (public organization 1628, report 1049 v1): The selected report has no public document in source metadata. Amounts are unavailable, not zero.
- ND Bankers Association Political Action Committee - State (NDBANKPAC) (public organization 1115, report 1081 v2): Selected report totals could not be reconciled. Amounts are unavailable, not zero.
- Benton, Catherine (public organization 1549, report 1134 v2): The selected report could not be safely parsed without exposing address text. Amounts are unavailable, not zero.
- Not complete statewide 2026 finances, all historical records or all federal disclosures.
- Ordinary report cutoffs vary; 197 selected reports end September 24 and 139 end April 30. Other selected families have their own dates.
- The petition-circulating report spans December 23, 2025 through April 9, 2026. It never enters calendar-2026 charts.
- Independent spending is amount/provenance-only. Counterparties, beneficiaries, stance and individual dates are not published because their independent verification is incomplete.
- A source row can accumulate several contributions. Row counts are not unique donor or payment counts.
Public names and state-level geography only. Street addresses, contact details and employer fields are omitted. Shared names do not establish shared identities, candidate ownership, coordination or wrongdoing.
Reported contributions establish financial relationships. Evidence of an agreement or control requires additional reporting.
