Official candidates for every statewide candidate contest

Who is running in Wyoming?

The Wyoming Secretary of State's September 9 roster lists 16 printed candidates across 7 candidate contests decided statewide on November 3, 2026.

Name source: The official 2026 General Election Candidates list was checked October 1. It provides the printed names and party labels used here. Supreme Court and Chancery Court retention questions are covered separately because they are yes-or-no retention votes, not candidate contests.

No official named statewide write-in roster

The official general-election candidate PDF does not publish named statewide write-in candidates. Wyoming canvassers count write-in votes by candidate when the total could affect the result. A person may request a count for another write-in candidate, with the administrative fee, by November 5 under W.S. 22-16-106(c). Zero named entries here means no official pre-election roster was published, not that voters cannot cast write-in votes.

Coverage boundary: This guide covers seven candidate contests decided by all Wyoming voters. It excludes State Senate, State House, District Court, Circuit Court, county, municipal, school, and special-district contests. The three statewide judicial retention questions and one statewide initiative appear on the voting page and are not counted as candidate contests. Read the full coverage boundary.
