Noncash contribution value and out-of-state/federal reporting are separate source views, not additions to a statewide cash total.
Which states appear in reported receipt rows?
This map uses $53,619,340.17 in positive cash-contribution records only. It excludes -$18,886.86 in negative source adjustments from map intensity, but keeps unknown states in the denominator. Select a state to see matching positive records. Reported contributor state does not establish residence or control.
State boundaries: U.S. Census Bureau, 2025 Cartographic Boundary Files, States 20M. Official boundary source. Puerto Rico and source labels that do not match a mapped state remain in the exact contributor-state table below, but are not drawn on this 50-state and District of Columbia map.

What is included
All 205,896 rows returned by the pinned 62 public search queries across 31 source committee types are included, with 1,121 accounts having records. This is not a complete election-cycle cash-flow statement or a complete registry of every filing account.
Collected October 2, 2026, 05:58:11 to 05:59:01 UTC. A full bounded recheck at 06:10:38 to 06:11:28 UTC was identical. The collection is non-atomic; subsequent filings can change the source.
Published row dates range from 2026-01-01 through 2026-10-02. Dates are source transaction calendar dates without timezone conversion. Records can appear outside a report's nominal date range. No transaction is assigned to a report by dates or names alone.
- All source GUIDs are globally unique, all four ledger counts and exact-cent sums reconcile, and the full bounded recheck was unchanged.
- Twelve sampled report windows reconcile directly, including six explicitly amended reports. One additional committee reconciles after exact source PDF row membership resolves nominal-date exceptions.
- Every row retains its source GUID, committee code, calendar date and signed cents. Opposite-side references are labeled as references, not own-report identifiers.
- Exact geography and filing-account-type distributions reconcile; source names are not used for entity joins.
- Separate independent-expenditure forms, loans, balances, unpaid bills and property schedules are outside these four views. Donor type and expenditure purpose are unavailable in this source search. No rows is not evidence of no activity.
- Donor-type and expenditure-purpose classification are not returned by public search. The filing-account-type charts are a different concept, not replacements inferred from names.
- Separate independent-expenditure main amounts, funding sources, targets and current-version semantics are not approved for numeric integration. Their absence is not zero spending.
- Not every report or amendment chain has been reconciled. These are current public search results at collection, not an independently complete historical amendment ledger.
- The 12 candidate links reuse exact existing committee codes and report URLs. Their original report amounts and windows remain unchanged.
- Contributions may include unitemized/aggregate entries and transfers. Row counts are not unique donor or atomic donation counts.
- Data Hub financial rows were not merged. Its CC BY-NC label is not a separately verified license for live WRS data.
Public-interest reporting with Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board attribution. Names remain as reported, not merged into people or ownership claims. Only state-level geography is included. No addresses, contact details, ZIPs, employers or check numbers. No solicitation, donor targeting, list sales or commercial-use assumption.
Reported contributions establish financial relationships. Evidence of an agreement or control requires additional reporting.
