What the guide covers
This is a September 24, 2026 snapshot, not a live total of every dollar in Nevada politics. The state transaction explorer contains selected 2025 annual, 2026 first-quarter and 2026 second-quarter filings. Its latest selected report period ends June 30, 2026.

Each row has a report ID. A direct original link was verified for some entries. Other entries point to the Nevada Secretary of State filing search, where the reader must locate the report. A verified report link does not mean that we independently checked every transaction on that report.

Direct links cover 24,270 of 95,364 entries. The remaining 71,094 have an official search link and report ID. We will backfill verified originals, starting with active races and significant committee activity. Search the entries or download the dated CSV and README.
Race coverage
- Assembly: 42 districts and 75 candidate names on dated county rosters; 72 comparisons have checked signed covers for both the first and second quarters. Three have an incomplete comparison.
- Governor: signed covers for the first and second quarters of 2026 for the three names checked on general-election lists, with earlier annual covers for Aaron Ford and Joe Lombardo.
- U.S. House: 14 names in four districts on checked county lists; nine have separately checked Federal Election Commission financial summaries through June 30. Five remain unknown in this snapshot.
- Other state and local offices: 1,533 candidate finance profiles with selected reports can be filtered by exported office and jurisdiction, including county sheriff, treasurer and city offices. They now display monetary and in-kind entries from controlling report versions separately; these are selected itemized entries, not signed-cover contribution totals. This archive has 530 profiles without a specified office or jurisdiction. The full set of local ballot rosters and signed-cover totals has not been checked, so these are filing leads, not completed race comparisons. Check current contests with your county or city election office.
What this export cannot establish
These rows combine incoming contributions, outgoing spending and written commitments. A committee payment and candidate receipt can describe the same transfer. Do not add all rows as unique money. The 1,662 registered groups form a historical directory across registration types; a listed contact is not an owner. This electronic export omits later filings, paper-only entries, unitemized small donations and full federal finance. It does not comprehensively capture or classify outside spending; two documented ad expenses are included. It cannot identify every individual who gave less than $500 or prove that a donor directed an official action.
County and city roster crosswalk
There are 17 county-level election jurisdictions, including Carson City. We have located dated 2026 general-election lists for Clark, Douglas, Storey, Washoe; this directory has not matched all their local ballot names to finance profiles or checked every original signed cover. The other 13 jurisdictions still require a checked November roster: Carson City, Churchill, Elko, Esmeralda, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lincoln, Lyon, Mineral, Nye, Pershing, White Pine. A primary ballot or a filed candidate list is not the November ballot. City elections may require additional municipal lists.
One visible example is Matt Sadler, whose export office and jurisdiction are unspecified despite a Nye primary ballot name match. Anthony Greco is outside the selected electronic candidate profiles, although the state holds paper report PDFs. We show his money as unknown pending report and version checks. This is a named correction, not evidence that the remaining 530 unspecified profiles are all current local candidates.
CSV field guide
The public ZIP contains a dated CSV and a README. These column names describe what was carried into the subset; they do not turn two sides of a transfer into separate money.

Source fingerprint and public extract
The Nevada Secretary of State bulk export used for this guide has SHA-256 checksum bdd952c0f4777c4b6f8190c382503705d0d89dc743831741e2a840e7b5b1c1d2. The original ZIP is not hosted here because it contains personal data. The reduced CSV and README exclude addresses and contact IDs, so that public extract cannot recreate the full bulk file. The state's file-structure specification was not supplied with this snapshot; the table above documents the extracted columns used here.
